RAPRA Limited Hosts Chinese Trade Mission to the UK - Part 1 (of 4)
RAPRA Limited has recently hosted a Trade Mission to the UK, consisting of 10 visitors from Shanghai and Beijing. The Mission took place from July 21st to 28th, 2011 and focussed on the use of phenolic foam wall cladding in the construction industry. The motivation behind the Mission followed a major fire in a Shanghai apartment building in November 2010, in which over 70 people lost their lives. Phenolic Foam wall claddings, as well as providing a particularly efficient form of heat insulation, also offer significant benefits in terms of fire retardance, which if they had been applied in this case, might have saved many lives. The visitors from China were representatives from local agencies and institutes involved in the construction industry in China, as well as locally-based manufacturers of phenolic foam panels.		 0 No activity
RAPRA Limited Resume Summary Techniques
Compare the first part of your resume to the "Elevator Interview” - a brief conversation that takes place when you get into an elevator with someone that asks “What do you do?”

It should be a summary of your work and what you're capable of bringing to the party. Give an overview of what you do, the tools used, strengths, accomplishments etc. Don’t forget, sometimes you have training and strengths you're not using in your current job. If you are a Software Engineer, list the languages you use, if you are in Quality Assurance list the techniques used in process improvements and problem solving.

Consider it this way; you just gave notice to your company that you are going to another firm.
