On the 12th September, the Rubber And Plastics Research Association (RAPRA) and the ASCAMM Technology Centre based in Cerdanyola, just north of Barcelona, Spain were pleased to sign a significant new service provider agreement that provides privileged access to valuable new facilities and resources for RAPRA members.
Over many years of working together on other projects, RAPRA has come to recognise the considerable experience and expertise that ASCAMM has in the areas of innovation management, product and process design and technical support relevant to the use of various materials, especially polymers and metals.
As Steve Shaw, RAPRA Operations Director said, "This agreement is a major step in our plan to extend and improve our comprehensive global network of technical and business support providers". He added "the application of RAPRA benefits to ASCAMM expert services will particularly assist members conducting business in Spanish, either as a first language, or as part of overseas ventures in regions such as Latin America."
As part of this agreement, ASCAMM will provide a technical ‘help-line’ consultancy service to RAPRA members and will participate in the Members Only Rewards (MORe) Points benefits programme.
"ASCAMM are very much looking forward to working together with RAPRA members to develop new products and processes using the latest available technologies" said Albert Riera, their Vice-Managing Director. He added "This agreement demonstrates a commitment by both our organisations to support companies worldwide who grow their business through innovation".
