Rapra Limited Members can access the full range of facilities available from our main UK based service providers, Smithers Rapra & iSmithers. Using facilities developed by the original RAPRA, Smithers Rapra & iSmithers are still Europe’s leading independent contract research, technology and information organizations specialising in plastics and rubber.

In addition, Rapra Limited Members can also access the full range of facilities available from other Smithers Group companies on similar preferential terms. These service providers include - Smithers Scientific Services, Synomics Pharma Services, Smithers Quality Assessments and Smithers Springborn Laboratories. These all have world-class reputations, for example Smithers Scientific Services is North America’s leading independent tire testing centre, as well as being a widely recognised technology and testing centre for polymer materials.

Small Business Full Premium

All packages include the same types of benefits, but access levels vary according to membership type and associated subscription paid. Put simply…… the more you pay - the more you get!

The most appropriate package is the one that provides the maximum benefit to your company. This is what we strive to achieve, so we are always happy to discuss benefit package selection with prospective and existing members.

  • Small Business Membership costs £600 p.a. and is the basic entry-level scheme designed for companies with less than 50 employees. £200 of the fee is immediately available to purchase goods and services from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers. Discounts are available on all purchases from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers at the standard rate (10 to 15%).

  • Full Membership is designed for medium and larger-sized companies who are likely to purchase products or services from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers on a regular basis. The annual subscription starts at £1000 p.a. of which 40% is immediately available to purchase goods and services from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers. Discounts are available on all purchases from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers at the standard rate (10 to 15%).

  • Premium Membership is designed for large multinational organisations or for companies whose use of Smithers Rapra & iSmithers is likely to be very high. The annual subscription starts at £1500 p.a. of which 50% is immediately available to purchase goods and services from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers. Discounts are available on all purchases from Smithers Rapra & iSmithers at the higher rate (15 to 20%).
